For the past 2 years I’ve been waiting for a complete Continuous Integration solution for PHP to arrive. Not just an interface on CruiseControl or a horrificly difficult thing to setup, but something with the necessary tools and a user-friendly interface.
Seeing nobody’s really produced such a tool and development on phpUnderControl and Xinc seems to have stalled (the latest versions are from 2008), I decided to start building my own CIT.
Development is well underway and the environment can build, release and even deploy software. I’m not going to give too many details yet on what exactly it does, but it’s much more than just a Continuous Integration Tool that runs PHPUnit and php-cs and displays some graphs. For now, I’ll keep it a secret, but stay tuned for much more
